A sculptural installation with an ambient soundscape inspired by Jason Bauer's poem 'Angela'

You have murdered me
your neck white
your shoulderblades entering my flesh
slicing it from the bone like cheese
I am locked in your insect basement
my mouth filled with dirt
my limbs flail, useless, slapping & scratching
each gesture emptier than the last
You tell me you are not afraid of death
my grief must seem a banal vanity to you
but it is your eyes, your throat —
and as they flash through my mind
I hear the wail of my senseless, terrible fury
